Tell us the guest count and we will do the arithmetic the way our crew does it when a floor plan lands on the bench: how many tables, how many seats, how many lounge groupings, and what it comes to at our published prices. Every figure is a real Vogue Rentals rate, not an industry average.
Estimates use our published per-event prices. Delivery, setup and strike are quoted separately by distance, venue access and the delivery and pickup windows you choose — there is no free-delivery threshold.
The rules behind the numbers
Nothing here is a secret formula — it is the same arithmetic every production crew uses. If you want to check the calculator by hand:
- Dining tables. An eight-foot farm table seats eight, ten if you seat the ends and keep the runner narrow. A sixty-inch round seats eight to ten. Divide guests by eight and round up.
- Chairs. One per guest, no exceptions, plus a couple spare for the officiant and anyone standing.
- Benches. A six-foot bench seats three, an eight-foot bench seats four. One bench per side of the table.
- Lounge. One grouping per fifty guests for cocktail hour. A grouping is a sofa, two lounge chairs, a coffee table and a side table.
- Cocktail tables. One per twenty guests during cocktail hour, so people have somewhere to put a glass.
- Bars. One per hundred guests. Below that the queue becomes the event.
- Place settings. One plate, one glass and one set of flatware per guest, minimum. Multi-course dinners need more glassware.
What the calculator does not include
Delivery, setup and strike are quoted separately, by distance, venue access and the delivery and pickup windows you choose. There is no free-delivery threshold and no free delivery — you see the figure before you confirm. Linen, florals, lighting, tenting and staffing are not ours and are not in these numbers.
Destination deliveries outside Southern California carry a $5,000 order minimum. Inside Southern California there is no minimum.

Typical totals by guest count
For a quick sanity check before you open the calculator, here is roughly where a long-table wedding with cross-back chairs, one lounge grouping per fifty guests, a bar and a ceremony arch lands in furniture, before delivery:
| Guests | Entry pieces | Top of range |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | about $3,700 | about $11,500 |
| 100 | about $6,500 | about $20,700 |
| 150 | about $9,800 | about $30,900 |
| 200 | about $12,600 | about $40,100 |
The spread between the two columns is the honest truth of this category: the same guest count can cost three times as much depending on which pieces you choose. That is why we publish every price instead of quoting a range and hoping.
Frequently asked questions
How many tables do I need for 100 guests? Thirteen eight-foot farm tables at eight per table, or ten sixty-inch rounds at ten per table.
How many bars for 150 guests? Two. One bar serves roughly a hundred guests before the queue becomes noticeable.
Do I need lounge furniture? Not strictly, but cocktail hour without seating means guests stand for an hour. One grouping per fifty guests is the working rule.
