Rancho Valencia sits on 45 acres of citrus and olive groves in Rancho Santa Fe, and it is one of the few San Diego County properties that reads as a private estate rather than a hotel. The Croquet Lawn and Valencia Lawn each take up to about 500; the Terrace Ballroom and Patio handle around 200; the Wine Cave is one of the more unusual dinner settings in California.

Our catalogue prices are public, so you can build a realistic budget before you ever speak to us. Delivery, setup and pickup are quoted separately based on access and timing.

No minimum order. A standard booking covers a 2-day rental period at no extra cost, so you are not paying for a rush return the morning after your event.
Delivery, load-in and insurance at Rancho Valencia
Rancho Valencia runs a tighter vendor process than most, and it is worth knowing before you book:
- The resort requires a certified wedding coordinator from its preferred list. We work alongside whichever planner you appoint and take our schedule from them.
- Outside vendors must carry $1M general liability naming the hotel as an additional insured. We issue and file the certificate as part of booking, at no extra cost.
- Valet parking is required at the property, which affects the delivery route and the timing of our arrival. We coordinate the drop point with your planner in advance.
- Lawn setups on the Croquet and Valencia lawns are levelled on arrival — solid-wood tables show a slope immediately.
- Food and beverage is handled by the resort; we supply furniture only, which keeps our load-in independent of the catering timeline.
Venue requirements change. We confirm the current load-in window, vendor paperwork and curfew with your coordinator before every delivery.
