FormDecor and Vogue Rentals get compared often because both are design-led furniture rental houses in Orange County. They are, however, built on opposite premises — and that makes the choice unusually clear once you know what you are actually after.
What FormDecor does well
FormDecor rents authentic 20th-century design: Eames, Saarinen, Le Corbusier, Hollywood Regency pieces and collectibles, from a base in Huntington Beach. Their proposition is provenance — the actual designed object, not a piece inspired by it.
If your brief calls for a recognisable mid-century icon — a genuine Eames lounge in a brand film, a Saarinen tulip table in a fashion activation — that is their category and it is not one we compete in. We build furniture; we do not stock twentieth-century originals.

The practical split
Mid-century originals are valuable objects. They belong in ballrooms, lofts and controlled interiors, not on a lawn in the evening wind or a beach in July. Our inventory is built for the opposite: long farm tables on grass, benches on decomposed granite, arches weighted against coastal wind.
So the question is rarely which company is better. It is whether the event is indoors around design objects, or outdoors around wood.

When to choose them
Choose FormDecor when the piece itself is the point: an authentic mid-century design, a specific designer chair, a Hollywood Regency interior. Nothing we build substitutes for provenance.

Choose us for outdoor and vineyard weddings, for long-table dinners, for ceremonies that need a structure installed and weighted, for brand activations that need something built to a brief, and when you want the budget before the conversation. We deliver, set and strike with our own crew, and everything we send is our own stock.
