On a corridor this long, coverage matters more than catalogue. A few questions worth asking:
- Do they cross the county line? Many Central Coast vendors work either the Santa Barbara end or the Monterey end, not both. Ask about your specific venue.
- What is the delivery charge, and is there a minimum? Distances here are real, and destination pricing is normal. Get the figure in writing before you book.
- Can they reach the site? Gravel drives, vineyard rows, weight limits on private lanes and ceremony sites a walk from the last hard standing are the norm rather than the exception.
- Is the material real? Solid, handcrafted wood photographs with depth in coastal and golden-hour light; laminate looks flat.
- Who handles the strike? Ranch and vineyard properties often have a firm end time, which means a late crew rather than a morning collection.
