Farm tables for a county that eats outside

San Diego runs more of its weddings outdoors than almost anywhere else in California, and the long wooden table has become the default because it does something a round cannot: it gives a lawn, a bluff or a courtyard a spine.

Ours are cut and finished in our own shop in Anaheim, ninety minutes up the 5, from locally sourced wood. Not sub-rented, not sourced from a warehouse the morning of. The table in the mood board is the table that arrives.

The farm tables we build

  • Joshua Table — from $160. The plain, heavy farm table most San Diego weddings start from.
  • Rustic Table — from $160. More grain and more visible history in the top; the one for a ranch or a working property.
  • Catalina A-Frame Table — from $180. An A-frame base that keeps the ends clear, so you can seat guests at the head without a leg in the way.
  • Yosemite Farm Table — from $180. Classic trestle proportions, for rooms where the venue is doing the talking.
  • French Country Table — from $180. Turned detail and a lighter finish; suits Spanish and mission architecture, of which this county has plenty.
  • Temecula X-Frame Table — from $190. Crossed base, strong shadow line, photographs well from low down.
  • Malibu Modern Table — from $230. Squared-off and contemporary, for activations rather than barns.
  • Carlsbad Table — from $259. Heavier top, more finished edge, for dinners where the table is the centrepiece.
  • Aurelle Dining Table — from $290. Refined proportions for head tables and small private dinners.
  • Terra Arch Dining Table — from $300. Arched base, sculptural from every angle; usually a sweetheart or feature table.
  • River Table — $680. One table, and the room has a focal point.

Rounds if your layout needs them: Katmai Round from $160, Pearl Round from $290. We compared the two formats properly in farm tables versus round tables.

Which table suits which San Diego venue

The coast — La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas, Coronado

Two forces decide everything here. Wind builds off the water through the afternoon and peaks around cocktail hour; the marine layer leaves every surface damp until late morning. Heavy solid-wood tops stay put and shrug off the damp, where veneer and particle board swell at the seams and never recover. On sand, wide trestle and A-frame feet sit level where a narrow pedestal sinks.

Estates and ranches — Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, Ramona, Julian

Long drives, gates, decomposed granite underfoot and rarely a loading dock. We size the truck to the access rather than to the order. The Rustic and the Temecula X-Frame are built for uneven ground; the Carlsbad and the Aurelle suit the houses where the architecture already sets the standard.

Balboa Park and the city — downtown, the Gaslamp, Little Italy

Permitted load-in windows, shared access and often a walk from the truck to the room. Everything we bring breaks down and goes back together on site, and our crew does that rather than handing a venue a flat pack.

North County corporate — Carlsbad, Sorrento Valley, UTC

Product launches, campus events and activations on a hard opening time. The Malibu Modern and the Terra Arch read contemporary next to branded fabrication, and we provide COI and vendor paperwork as standard.

How many tables, and what they cost

Eight guests to an eight-foot table, four a side, or ten if you seat the ends.

  • 80 guests — 10 tables
  • 120 guests — 15 tables
  • 150 guests — 19 tables
  • 200 guests — 25 tables

Farm and dining tables run $160 to $680 each, cross-back chairs from $12 and benches from $69. No minimum order, and a standard booking covers a 2-day rental period at no extra cost. Delivery is charged separately and calculated once we have the address and your preferred delivery and pickup windows — there is no free-delivery threshold.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a farm table rental cost in San Diego?

$160 to $680 per table, published on every product page. A 120-guest long-table layout is roughly fifteen tables. Delivery is quoted separately once we have the venue and your timing.

How many people fit at one farm table?

Eight at an eight-foot table, ten if you seat the ends. With benches, count roughly three and a half a side.

Do you deliver to San Diego?

Yes — San Diego County is part of our standard service area, not a destination surcharge. La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Coronado, Rancho Santa Fe, downtown and the North County inland venues are all regular runs.

Is delivery included?

No. Delivery is always charged separately and calculated after we have your address and chosen delivery and pickup times. There is no free-delivery threshold.

Will the tables hold up on sand or a bluff?

That is what solid wood and a wide base are for. Tell us the venue and we will tell you which of our tables we would put on that ground and which we would not.

Can I add chairs, benches and tableware?

Yes — cross-back chairs from $12, benches from $69, plates from $3.99, glassware from $3.65 and flatware from $2.75. Most bookings are a full table setting rather than tables alone.

How far ahead should I book?

Three to six months for a Saturday between May and October. Inventory is held to your date once the booking is confirmed.
