Lounge furniture, built in Orange County
A lounge is where the evening actually happens. The dance floor gets the photographs, but the conversation — and most of the hours — happen on the sofas. That is the part of an event most worth spending design attention on, and the part most often filled with whatever the warehouse had left.
Every lounge piece we rent is our own, drawn and built in our Anaheim shop or specified by us and kept in our own inventory. Nothing is sub-rented, which means the sofa in the mood board is the sofa that arrives.
The lounge pieces we rent
Sofas — $390 to $950
Twenty sofas, from the Bali Breeze at $390 through the Muir and Verde Curve in the middle to the Riviera Dining Sofa at $950 and the Canyon Wave at $900. Curved and modular shapes photograph better than straight-backed ones because they give the camera a line to follow; straight sofas are the right answer against a wall or a branded backdrop.
Lounge chairs — $39 to $220
Fourteen chairs, from the Ubud Teak at $39 up through woven and bouclé pieces — the Arroyo Woven, Aria, Aspen and Bali Breeze at $190 to $195 — to swivel and accent chairs like the Ojai Bouclé, Aster, Luna and Olive at $220. Two chairs facing a sofa is the grouping that actually gets used; four chairs in a square is the one that looks good and stays empty.
Coffee and side tables — from $80
Coffee tables from $90 and side tables from $80. A lounge without a surface to put a glass on is a lounge people leave.
Rugs, pillows and low seating
Rugs are what turn a group of furniture on a lawn into a room; without one the pieces read as scattered. Pillows from $14.99 and low and floor seating from $18.99 finish it.
How much lounge furniture do you need?
The working figure is one lounge grouping per fifty guests — a sofa, two lounge chairs, a coffee table and a rug. That is enough to give people somewhere to go without emptying the dinner tables.
- 100 guests — two groupings, roughly $1,400 to $2,600 depending on the pieces
- 150 guests — three groupings
- 200 guests — four groupings, usually split between a cocktail area and an after-party zone
For brand activations the maths is different: seating is usually about dwell time rather than capacity, and the right number is whatever holds people in the space long enough to engage with it. Lounge setups for Orange County venues
Coastal — Newport, Laguna, Dana Point
Wind and salt air decide the upholstery. We use fabrics we can clean and re-cover rather than fabrics that mark permanently, and we weight or shelter anything light. A lounge set on a bluff at five o’clock is a different proposition from the same set in a ballroom.
Estates — Coto de Caza, Villa Park, the Newport bluffs
Usually a lawn, usually no loading dock, often a gate. Rugs matter most here — they are what stop a lounge grouping on grass from reading as furniture that wandered outside.

Activations, campus events and launches, usually against a hard opening time and a fixed load-in window. We handle COI and vendor paperwork as standard, and our crew builds on site rather than leaving a venue with flat-packed pieces.

Yes, and most of ours does. We choose fabrics we can clean and re-cover, and we plan for wind and damp at coastal and bluff-top venues. Tell us the venue and we will tell you what we would and would not put on that lawn.
Is it your own furniture?
Yes. Everything is our own inventory, designed and built in California or specified and owned by us. We do not sub-rent, so the piece you picked is the piece that arrives.
Can I add rugs and tables to a lounge order?
Yes — rugs, pillows, coffee and side tables and low seating are all in the same catalogue. A lounge without a rug and a surface rarely gets used, so we usually quote them together.
